Human-centred support grounded in lived experience.

Real conversations, practical understanding, and genuine support without judgement.

Hi, I'm Rox

There was a time when I needed support and struggled to find it.

That experience stayed with me.

Real Talk with Rox provides human-centred support grounded in lived experience, real conversation and practical understanding.

I understand that complex life challenges don't always fit neatly into systems, services, or clinical boxes.

Sometimes people simply need someone who can sit beside them, listen without judgement, and help make sense of what feels overwhelming.

My background includes lived and professional experience across disability, mental health, caring responsibilities and navigating complex systems, alongside formal qualifications in nursing and mental health peer support.

There is no template for life's challenges. My role is to listen without judgement, respect your experiences, and help you make sense of what feels overwhelming so you can move forward with confidence.

At the heart of this work is a simple belief: people deserve to feel heard, understood, and supported as a person, not a problem to be managed.

You don’t need to tell your story over and over.

Real Talk with Rox takes a different approach.

Many people find themselves telling their story over and over, moving between services that each focus on one part of the picture. While those services can be valuable, it can leave people feeling unheard, overwhelmed and exhausted.

Life doesn’t happen in separate boxes.

Disability, mental health, caring responsibilities, family circumstances, health services and justice systems are often deeply connected.

Support should look at the whole picture.

Understanding what is happening, what supports already exist, and where additional support may help.

Sometimes another referral isn’t enough.

Sometimes people need someone who can listen, understand the bigger picture, and help make sense of it all.

We talk. We listen. We find a way forward, together.
